Technology
We support individuals involved in innovative technological change and advancement relating to the UK and New Zealand.
Following on from initial success in 2022, in May 2023 we launched a ten-year partnership programme with the the UK Friends of the University of Auckland in 2022 to sponsor two New Zealanders to travel annually to the UK as McLaren Interns. This program celebrates the shared heritage of the UK and New Zealand in motorsport and engineering, with Kiwi Bruce McLaren having founded the company in the UK in 1963. As a result of the Link Funding partnership recruitment is currently underway for the next intake of scholars, who will divide their time between McLaren Automative and McLaren Racing.
